Q: Why does Articles+ look different?
Answered by: Jennifer Bazeley
The library recently implemented a change to Articles+ in Quicksearch, the library’s search interface for articles and other online resources. After performing a search, results now open in an interface with more advanced search and filter capabilities.
This change was made to provide users with more immediate access to advanced features and functionality such as:
  • Search assistance: predictive text, related topics, reference articles, recommended research guides, and suggested librarians
  • Search results: alternative search suggestions, and image results from Artstor
  • Evaluating results: preview article content and subjects, Web of Science and Scopus citation counts may appear in brief results, citation trail feature allows users to trace cites/cited by references
  • Search refinements: filters and limits available from the left menu, including scholarly publications, content type, and publication date
  • Bibliography assistance: export to popular citation management tools, auto-format citations for individual articles or for a group of articles, and email citations
