Q. I am not affiliated with Yale University. Do I have access to library collections?

Visitors not affiliated with Yale are welcome at Sterling Memorial Library and Bass Library during designated daytime hours when Yale ID is not needed for entry. See individual library hours and access policies. You may sign up for a Yale Library account to use and/or borrow general collection materials. To access special collections materials, you must register with Yale Library special collections and request the materials in the designated special collections reading room.
