Q: Who can check out course reserve materials?

These items are only available to be checked out by current students while they remain on reserve. Course reserve materials are generally placed on reserve until the end of the current semester.
Course reserve materials can be identified in two ways. There will be a band around the front cover of the item indicating it is a "Yale University Library Course Reserve." There also will be a note in the Orbis or Quicksearch record indicating location, type of reserve, and duration (Example: “Bass Library, Stacks, 24-Hour Reserve”).
