Yale Libraries do not have sections that are dedicated to newly published materials or best sellers but you will find these items integrated into our bookstacks. You can search for any materials you are interested in in either of our online catalogs, Quicksearch or Orbis.
Quicksearch
Type the title or author into the search box and click the magnifying glass to execute the search.
On the following page, you will see a list of results. The location, availability and call number are provided on this page but you may also click on the title for more information about the book.
Orbis
Type the title or author into the search box and specify the type of search term you are using with the drop down menu to the right of the search box. Here is an example of a search by title.
The following page will list your results. The fourth result is for a print copy of this title.
Click on the author's name to see the full record for this item, where you can find the location, status and call number for the book.
If you simply wish to browse a collection, you may try the Linonia and Brother's Room, located in Sterling Memorial Library. It has a number of new titles, including bestsellers. If you have a specific title in mind, it is best to search our catalog to discover it's location and availability.
