Q. Can I borrow eBooks through BorrowDirect?

Unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions, eBooks can not be shared outside of the immediate university community. In other words, Yale Library has purchased eBook access for Yale staff, students and faculty only. The same policy will apply to all partnering BorrowDirect Libraries.

If Yale Library does not own a copy of a book and you would like them to consider purchasing it, either in print or electronically, you may submit a purchase request.
