Q: Do I have access to Scientific American?
Answered by: Laura Galas

See the library's guide to accessing Scientific American at guides.library.yale.edu/nonscientistagp/sciam.

If I'm prompted for a login, what should I do?

You should not be prompted for a login when you connect to most of Yale Library's databases. Make sure you're either connected to the Yale Network when you're on campus. If you're off-campus, you should be prompted to login with your NetID and password to access electronic resources. As an alternative, you can install Cisco VPN AnyConnect, Yale's Virtual Private Network (VPN), which registers your computer's IP Address with the Yale Network.

Watch the video below for instructions on off-campus access (without using VPN). More information is also available at guides.library.yale.edu/offcampusaccess.
