Q: Where can I find primary sources at Yale University Libraries?
Answered by: Jonas Baker

There are many primary resources at the Yale University Libraries.  The first place to start a search is to look in our Archives at Yale

The Archives at Yale allows you to search our archival and manuscript materials from a variety of our collections, including the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, the Manuscripts and Archives Department, Yale Center for British Art, Arts Library, and many others.  Please note that not all of the primary sources are completely cataloged in the finding aid database, so you may need to contact the specific library or collection that holds the primary source you are looking for to find more.
