Q: What does Quicksearch search?
Answered by: Jenn Nolte
Quicksearch unites several Yale University Library resources under one search interface. This includes Orbis, the main Library catalog, and Morris, the Law Library catalog.
The catalogs contain over 11.5 million books, pamphlets, scores, microforms, printed journals, eBooks, and other materials, and are united in the Books+ search in Quicksearch.
By default, Articles+ searches scholarly and peer reviewed journal articles. You can use the filters to modify your search and also find books, online journal articles, online newspaper articles, online dissertations, as well as other electronic resources licensed by the library.
Digital Collections searches the Yale University Library’s primary Digital Collections repository, which includes some of the digitized images and archival documents from the library’s special collections.
A single keyword search in Quicksearch will return results from both Books+, and Articles+ and Digital Collections.
