Q: What does Quicksearch search?
Answered by: Jenn Nolte
Quicksearch unites several Yale University Library resources under one search interface, including the library's catalogs (Orbis and Morris) Articles+, Digital Collections, databases, and more. A single keyword search in Quicksearch will return results for all of these resources.
  • Books+ unites over 11.5 million books, pamphlets, scores, microforms, printed journals, e-books, data sets, and other materials.
  • By default, Articles+ searches scholarly and peer reviewed journal articles. You can use the filters to modify your search and also find books, online journal articles, online newspaper articles, online dissertations, as well as other electronic resources licensed by the library.
  • Digital Collections searches the Yale University Library’s Digital Collections repository, which includes some of the digitized images and archival documents from the library’s special collections.
  • Use the Database facet in Quicksearch to access Yale Library's database subscriptions, ranging from JSTOR, Web of Science, ProQuest, EBSCO, and much more.
