Q: Do I have access to the Wall Street Journal?
Answered by: Michael Patten Jr.

Yes! The Wall Street Journal is available in a few different formats.

  • Online –   If you are currently a Yale University student, faculty or staff member you have access to the Wall Street Journal online. To access content, you will need to log in with your Yale NetID and password and then set up an account using your yale.edu email address and a new, unique password of your choosing.  This will give you access to the WSJ on or off-campus, without needing VPN.  The personal account will also give you access to the WSJ app for your iOS or Android device.

**Please note: Authorized users for the online version of the WSJ do not include affiliates of Yale New Haven Hospital.

  • Microfilm – Microfilm is available from 1889-2010 and can be viewed in the Microfilm Reading Room, located in the basement of Sterling Memorial Library. Click here to view the record in our online catalog.
  • Current issues – Current issues (previous week) can be found in the Periodical Reading Room in Sterling Memorial Library, located next to the Music Library in the Sterling Nave. They are located on the large wooden counter to the left when you enter the room.
