Q: One of the books I am interested in checking out has a status of "In Process." What does that mean? How can I get this book?

“In Process” means that the book is not currently shelved in the library stacks. This status may be due to the book needing repairs or other shelving preparation (i.e. cataloging, binding…etc.).

However, you may still request the book by clicking on the “Request this item through BorrowDirect or ILL."

When the book is available you will receive an email notifying you that the book is ready to be picked up at the library of your choice.
