Q: There is a restriction on a finding aid that seems incorrect or not applicable to my research – can an archivist check on my behalf?

Both Yale affiliates and the general public may ask for a restriction review of specific materials. University archivists will determine why the material is restricted and if any part of it may be used in the Manuscripts and Archives Reading Room. Please contact mssa.assist@yale.edu.
