You are welcome to visit our special collections reading rooms if you wish to research your question in person. If this is not possible, you might consider hiring a researcher to conduct research on your behalf. Please note that the Library does not coordinate this service; it would be an independent arrangement between you and the researcher, though we can offer a few suggestions.
- Send a short description of your requirements to the registrar or Academic Support Assistant of the relevant academic department (consult the individual websites of graduate programs & departments). The registrar should be able to forward your project on to graduate students and invite them to contact you.
- The Center for Career Services at Southern Connecticut State University maintains a registry for services wanted, which is available to its entire student body. Please contact them directly if you are interested in utilizing this service to advertise for a research assistant.
- Some patrons have had success posting a researcher position on Craigslist.
