Q: I’ve lost a book. Instead of paying the $130.00 replacement fee, can I buy a new copy for the library myself?
Answered by: Tanya Allen

We do not accept replacement copies of lost or damaged items unless the request to purchase a new copy is approved by the selector.  If you have lost an item and you wish to replace it, please fill out the “Problems with my Library Account” form.

On the form, please check “I have lost or damaged a library item.”

In the “Please provide information about your inquiry” field, inquire about purchasing a new copy of the book.

The time between submission and response may vary during high-volume times of the year, but all claims will be handled in the order they are received.

Again, please do not purchase a replacement copy unless the request to replace has been approved.
