Q: The book I want says it’s on “closed reserve” at Yale Library. What does that mean?
Answered by: Jessica Bower Relevo

“Closed reserve” items have been elected for restricted access by professors, lecturers, and teaching assistants who have included the materials on their respective syllabi. They must be requested at the circulation desk and are available for two-hour check out.  Closed Reserve items must be used in-building. Course reserve items are not available for delivery or renewals.

Please contact course reserve staff at reserves@yale.edu or contact your local reserves unit for assistance.
