Q: Can I return a reserve book to a different library than the one I borrowed it from?

The library is currently processing only electronic reserves. Current students should look for e-reserve material in Canvas. Faculty can request material to be put on e-Reserve via Canvas. Find more information about current reserve policies at https://guides.library.yale.edu/reserves.

We strongly recommend that you return reserve books at the library you originally borrowed them from. This will ensure that they are checked in properly and re-shelved quickly so that other library patrons can use them. If the loaning library is closed, please return the books via that library’s book-drop. They will be backdated the next day.
