Q: Do I have access to JSTOR?
Answered by: Laura Galas

Yes, all current students, faculty, and staff have access to access JSTOR.

To find a database by title, go to the library website at library.yale.edu.

  • Within the menu option "Find, Request, and Use" select "Databases."
  • You can either search for a keyword or a database name (e.g.: JSTOR).

See below for a short video tutorial.

If I'm prompted for a login, what should I do?

When you are connected to the Yale network on campus you should not be prompted for a login when you connect to our databases. If you are off campus and being prompted for a log-in, visit our guide to off-campus access.

JSTOR access for Yale alumni

As an alumni, you are entitled to access to JSTOR. Click here and scroll down to the section "Online Library Resources" for more information about setting up your JSTOR account. Your online directory credentials are required to access this platform.
