If you are a current student, staff or faculty member at Yale University, you are eligible for BorrowDirect services.

BorrowDirect is a cooperative program that allows current students, faculty and staff at participating universities to borrow materials from one another. Participating schools are:

  • Brown University
  • Columbia University
  • Cornell University
  • Dartmouth University
  • Duke University
  • Harvard University
  • Johns Hopkins University
  • MIT
  • Princeton University
  • Stanford University
  • University of Chicago
  • University of Pennsylvania
  • Yale University

 

If a book at Yale Library is unavailable (lost, checked out, on reserve, or not part of our collection) but is available at a participating BorrowDirect Library, you may place a request through the BorrowDirect catalog. It will be available within four business days.
