Q: What is Borrow Direct?
Answered by: Laura Sider
If you are a current student, staff or faculty member at Yale University, you are eligible for Borrow Direct. Borrow Direct is a cooperative program among Yale, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke, Harvard, MIT, Princeton, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, the University of Chicago, and the University of Pennsylvania. If a book at Yale University Library is unavailable (lost, checked out, on reserve, or not part of our collection) but is available at a participating Borrow Direct Library, you may place a request through the Borrow Direct catalog. It will be available within four business days.
