Q: How can I get a shelf at the Haas Arts Library?
Answered by: Tanya Allen

Patron shelves are available for Yale affiliated members to store Arts Library circulating items for use by semester or academic year. These assigned shelves are located in the Rudolph Reading Room directly across from the Current Periodicals section. Each shelf is identified with a number label.

Request a shelf by submitting an online form through the Haas website at https://web.library.yale.edu/arts/patron-shelves or filling out the printed form at the Main Desk. Be sure to review the Patron Shelf Policies regarding use and restrictions. All items are removed from shelves when the patron shelf account expires. To renew the assigned shelf, you must resubmit the form before the end of the term or academic year.
