Q: I've lost an interlibrary loan book. What now?
Answered by: Jessica Bower Relevo

Yale Library users are expected to comply with the terms of the lending library. If an item is overdue more than 30 days, or if the material is reported lost or damaged by the user, then a replacement fee will be assessed in addition to any applicable overdue fees. The replacement fee is determined by the policies of the lending library, and may include a processing fee in addition to the replacement cost of the book. If you have an issue with your library account, such as a lost or damaged item, fill out the Problems with your Library Account form.
