Q: What does LSF mean? How do I get a book there?
Answered by: Laura Sider

LSF is the Library Shelving Facility, an off-site storage area. The building is not open to the public but you can place a request online to have an item at LSF delivered to a library of your choice. Delivery typically takes 24-48 hours, Monday-Friday. You will receive an email when your item is available for pickup.

To request delivery, search for the book in either online catalog, Quicksearch or Orbis. When you find the item you wish to request, click "Request recall or delivery."

If you have not already logged in, you will be prompted to do so.

Then select "Request staff search or delivery."

On the final page, select your pickup location from the drop down menu at the bottom of the page.
