Q: How do I print a document at the library?
Answered by: Ro Ross

The BluePrint system allows users to send print jobs from their computer to the printer network. You may print at any print station on campus.

If you have a Yale NetID, you can print from your personal laptop or from any computer cluster on campus.

To print from your laptop: Ensure that your laptop is connected to the Yale Secure Wifi network. Follow the instructions on this webpage to install the print drivers.

To print from a campus computer: Simply log into the computer with your NetID and password. The drivers are pre-installed on these machines.

You may print in black & white or in color. To print in black & white, select the BluePrint_BW print queue. To print in color, select the BluePrint_Color print queue.

You will receive a pop-up notice that your print job is being held in a queue.

If you have a guest print account, you must use the PaperCut WebPrint service. Instructions for this service can be found here.

Once you receive confirmation that your document is being held in a queue, you can go to any print station on campus to release the print job. There are three printers in Sterling Memorial Library and six printers in Bass Library.

At the printer, log into your account with one of two ways:

1) Tap your Yale ID card at the card reader:

2) Type in your NetID OR guest username:
