Q: I am not affiliated with Yale but I would like to use your Interlibrary Loan services to borrow materials. What should I do?

If you are not affiliated with Yale but are interested in materials in one of our collections, the best way to obtain a copy of an item is to place an Interlibrary Loan request through your local public or academic library.  Interlibrary loan is the method with which libraries share their resources.

If that is not an option, you can submit your request directly to our interlibrary loan department through yaleill@yale.edu.

Fees for providing copies and reproductions of Yale materials for non-Yale-affiliated researchers (note: prices may have changed).

Photocopies/Scans and loans

$20 for up to 50 pages

Loans for Europe and elsewhere: $30 for up to 50 pages
