Q: I did a search in "Search Articles +" but I got too many results. What should I do?

When you perform a search in Search Articles+, you can return a lot of results because you are searching across hundreds of the library's databases at once.

To refine your search, there are a few things you can do:

  • Limit your search to scholarly, peer-reviewed articles
  • Limit your search to a specific format type, such as journal articles, e-book chapters, newspaper articles, magazine articles, etc.
  • Add more specific keywords and/or phrases to your search using Advanced Search.

For detailed advice on refining your search, visit the Articles+ Support guide, or watch the video below.
