Q: Can I put items on reserve in more than one library?
Answered by: Jessica Bower Relevo

This practice is possible but not recommended, as it can lead to confusion. However, professors sometimes wish to put books on reserve in multiple places for various reasons. Faculty may indicate where they want individual books placed on reserve when requesting Course Reserves through Canvas.

Students can check the location of a physical course reserve item by checking the Course Reserves module in Canvas and clicking "Show Details."

Please contact SML/Bass Reserves at reserves@yale.edu or your local reserves unit for assistance.
