Q: How do I put a film on course reserve?
Answered by: Jessica Bower Relevo

Faculty can request to place a film on reserve the same way as you would a book. Use Canvas to provide staff with bibliographic information such as the item’s call number and title.

If Yale doesn’t own the item, the library will purchase it. Please provide the ISBN and any other information helpful for procurement.

Please note that media, including CDs, DVDs, and other formats may only be placed on reserve at certain libraries (Music library and Yale Film Archive).  Streaming video reserves may also be available through Yale University Library licensed content.

Please contact SML/Bass Reserves at reserves@yale.edu or your local reserves unit to inquire about streaming options for course reserves.
