Q: How do I search for e-Journals and online newspapers?
Answered by: Laura Galas

To find online journals and newspapers follow the steps below, or watch the video below for more information:

  • Go to the Yale Library website at library.yale.edu
  • Under the the menu "Find, Request, And Use" select "E-Journals"
  • Search for a title, either by name (e.g.: "Nature" or "New York Times") or by ISSN
  • Available full text options will be listed for each online option. Be sure to check coverage dates carefully as they will vary for each access point or database

Note: If the volume you are searching for is not available electronically, be sure to check Quicksearch for an available print copy. If a print version is not available, request it via interlibrary loan.
