Q: What does LSF mean? How do I get a book there?
Answered by: Laura Galas

LSF is the Library Shelving Facility, an off-site storage area. The building is not open to the public but you can place a request online to have an item at LSF delivered to a Yale library of your choice.

To request delivery, search for the book our online catalog, Quicksearch. When you find the item you wish to request, select "Request for pickup."

Delivery typically takes 24-48 hours, Monday-Friday. You will receive an email when your item is available for pickup.
