Q: Does the library collect maps from the United States federal government?
Answered by: Melanie Maksin

Yale University Library's U.S. federal depository collection includes maps from the U.S. Forest Service, the National Park Service, the Census Bureau, and other agencies.

Maps from the U.S. Geological Survey, the Defense Mapping Agency, and the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration are generally housed in either the Geology Library or the Map Collection in the Sterling Memorial Library.

Search Orbis to find specific maps.
