I'm out of town, how long will an interlibrary loan item be held for me?

Answer

If an Interlibrary Loan item is available, you will receive an email notifying you of the pickup location and expiration date.  ILL materials stay on shelf until their due date. They will be pulled and sent back to the lending library the morning after they are due.

If you wish to renew your Interlibrary Loan item, please email the ILL office at smlill@yale.edu a week before the item is due.

If an electronic document is available then you will find a direct link to the document in the delivery email.
